WheelAir is planning a photoshoot for the week of September 2nd in Glasgow and is looking for manual wheelchair users to participate in a photoshoot.
WheelAir, a groundbreaking innovation in wheelchair backrests is designed to support temperature control and comfort with in-built fan technology. The company’s mission is to remove physical, emotional & social complications that over-heating and over-sweating can cause to wheelchair users.
It is little known that overheating and over-sweating are problems for many wheelchair users which not only impact their daily lives, but can lead to more serious health ailments. The WheelAir has been carefully designed to solve this problem. Using inbuilt fan technology, it not only cools the back, but reduces core temperature by convection, evaporation and conduction heat loss accelerated by a constant flow of air.
This allows for instant comfort and better temperature control. The cushion also offers extra support through a unique blend of carefully selected foams.
Corien Staels, founder and CEO of WheelAir,
